I feel like an alien.
Hated for its existence.
O how I try to help,
But none of which fulfilled it purposes.

I tried to start a conversation.
Yet you root yourself at the poles.
And turned into a silent cold.
I tried to bring you sunshine.
Yet my sun had lost its light.
It neither brings light nor warmth.
Just adding to your cold;
Probably making you sick.
Sick of me.

I’m sorry.
But I can’t change the alien that I am.
As much as I want to.
As much as I favor you.
As much as I admired you.

But I shall worry no more.
For here comes a man;
that brought you a glimpse of light.
However small it may be.
The ice has fallen off your shoulders.
Never did you treat him coldly.
And I thank God that you didn’t.
I’ll just stay here in the corner.
Watching you from afar.
Maybe hoping you’d come talk to me sometime.
And that you are doing well.
Hope that God will bring you through your studies.
And that it’ll all be worth it.

This shall be the last goodbye.

Was it justified? Was it worth the choice of words? I shouldn’t bother.. Or should I..? Ouch. It hurts suddenly when I think about it. Sigh.. Why must people be like that? Why must she be exposed to such torture? Sigh..

An excerpt from a Novel of my Mind.

He walked toward his home and whipped out his key like he does everyday. His dad, to his surprise, was at the washing machine. Which reminded him of what had happened to his mother. A moment of time seem to disappear from him as he walked toward his dad as his dad asked him for help with the washing machine.

Both of them stared at the washing machine, trying out different buttons and analyzing the words written below them. Each time he pressed, there would be a beep. He was a little hesitant on pressing the buttons, just like when he was in a factory during the school trip. After experimenting from all those buttons, they decided to go with the closest settings to what they saw she did. And they moved on from the washing machine, living life with gaps of time.

Insomnia

He tossed and turned in bed. Disturbed by the rugged fan and the violent wind. He opened his eyes and wondered why he’s unable to sleep, despite even trying. How hard can falling asleep be? He sat up and closed the windows and fell back onto the bed. Erratically adjusting his positions and switching of pillows, he was still unable to fall asleep.

For hours and minutes, he has been like that. Yet, finally, in a moment of peace, his phone alarm went off and there he was, up at 5am in the morning. His eyes couldn’t be any worst, yet his eyelids weren’t any heavier.

Why couldn’t he fall asleep?

This June Holiday.. I’m currently leading a bloody lazy life. So lazy that I’m not even going out to exercise. Horrible. Just thought that I’d have to pen it down to remind myself. Heh.
